Overview

QuoNova LLC, based in Melbourne, Florida was established in December 2006 with the aim of developing a proprietary quorum sensing blocker (QSB) technology through to commercialization.

QuoNova's QSB technology platform permits the identification of compounds capable of preventing bacteria and other organisms from forming biofilms and will therefore have applications in a range of multi-billion dollar markets.

This QSB technology comprises both intellectual property and compounds, and QuoNova is continuing optimization for the selection of compounds tailor-made for our strategic therapeutic indications and consumer, domestic and industrial applications and for further IP consolidation.

In August 2007, QuoNova Europe GmbH was established in Munich to support the company's global efforts in exploitation of the technology platform, with special focus on human healthcare applications.
